SCOC - The Sydney Congress Organising Committee

Immediately after the 2005 FIG Working Week in Cairo, Egypt ,where Australia won the right to host the FIG 2010 World Surveying Congress, the Institution of Surveyors Australia (ISA) formed the Sydney Congress Organising Committee (SCOC).

The primary goal of the Organising Committee is to present a Congress that will highlight Australia and the South-East Asia region to the international Surveying community. It is the intention of the Committee to offer a World Surveying Congress that will be affordable and will attract participants from all over the world.

One of the most important components of any Congress is the accompanying persons program. The Organising Committee are placing particular effort into ensuring that the program will make our visitors' time in both Sydney and Australia very memorable - for all the right reasons.
